Dr. Kent Plummer is
a native Nebraskan from the northeast section of the state, he has been a
health care professional since 1995. Dr. Plummer first became in involved in
the Healing Arts as a Massage Therapist and became a Doctor of Chiropractic,
graduating from Logan College of Chiropractic in 2004. He knows and
understands that our current health care system needs help. Instead of
treating symptoms of disease and writing prescriptions Dr. Plummer seeks to
find the cause and offer natural means to alleviate them.
Thomas Edison once said that the
doctor of the future will give no medicine but instead; interest his
patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and
prevention of disease. Dr. Plummer believes in order to shift the momentum
of our ever worsening health in America more and more doctors need to
practice this way. “The state of health in America will continue to worsen
until doctors start taking time to locate the cause of their patients’
sickness, removing that cause by natural means, and teaching them how to
maintain that health once it is restored.”
Dr. Plummer also feels that more
emphasis needs to be placed on the workings of the nervous system (and less
on what drug to give for what symptom) because it is the controlling system
of our bodies. If there is any interference within this system all other
systems suffer.
As a chiropractor Dr. Plummer works
to restore health by checking the spine for any areas that may be causing
interference in the nervous
system. If any areas are noted and can be corrected then the potential for
healing is unlocked. By using the Gonstead System of Chiropractic, Dr.
Plummer has seen amazing results and has helped people of all ages, sizes,
and conditions.
Dr. Plummer also
offers in-office lectures to his patients and guests and is happy to speak
to various companies, organizations, and community groups. After all a
doctor is also a teacher and Dr. Plummer is passionate about teaching people
how to reach their health potential by sharing healthy lifestyle habits.
